November 15, 2006 Housing & Human Needs Committee Meeting
 
The City Council Housing and Human Needs Committee will convene on Monday, November 20, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. in the City Council Chamber on the first floor of City Hall. The items offered for Housing and Human Needs Committee consideration are presented subject to the chairman’s approval. City Council Housing and Human Needs Committee meetings are generally accessible to persons with disabilities. I. Status Report: Investor Lending Services Residential Rehabilitation Loan Programs:

a) Types of property eligible for loan services.
b) Maximum loan amount.
c) Mortgage concept and target market.
d) Loan to value ratio for properties financed.
e) Short term investment capital and end of term options available.
f) Construction draw methods and project completion.
g) National trends for new investment opportunities.
i. Financing ADA modifications and improvements.

a) Donna Atkinson, Chief Development Officer of the City of New Orleans providing a detailed plan and inter-agency strategy for blight elimination.
b) Anthony Facianne, Executive Staff – Neighborhood One providing a detailed plan, time line and contact information for removal of imminent danger properties – both from Katrina damage and prior years of neglect.
