Summit Goals:

1. To present information compiled by stakeholders and local experts about the current state of public safety, crime control and crime prevention in New Orleans.
2. To hear testimony on evidence-based best practices for improving public safety, crime control and crime prevention from experts and practitioners in the respective fields.
3. To begin a process including stakeholders, community members and experts to develop action plans to reform and professionalize all aspects of our public safety system. This process will culminate in mid-January with a meeting to present these detailed plans for a safer New Orleans.
